My forced hiatus is over! Freed of sling and well into PT, I started to ease myself back into whittling a couple of weeks ago. Short sessions with plenty of time in between to feel out the effects on my healing shoulder. Whittling feels comfortable and appears to avoid all of the things I am “not supposed to do…”. So I have begun my next project.
You are going to have to wait for details, as this is a semi-secret one. All I will say now is that it is in the Flat Plane style, is the largest to date (but not hugely so) and is going to definitely take more then a weekend (though that is more to due with the much shorter whittling sessions).
